What is AIG Women’s Open?  

The AIG Women’s Open is an annual professional golf tournament for female golfers held in Britain. 
This year, the event will be taking place from August 10 to 13 at Walton Heath Golf Club. So, get ready as some of the best female golfers in the world will be competing for the AIG Women’s Open title. 

The tournament has had many incredible champions over its history, and this year promises to be no different.  

It’s the moment to celebrate female golfers, encourage them and learn from the best! 

 

Is AIG Women’s Open a Major? 

 

Since 2001, this tournament has become one of the top five in women’s golf. And the best part? It’s the only tournament recognized by both the LPGA Tour (Ladies Professional Golf Association) and the Ladies European Tour. 

 

Who won the AIG Women’s Open? 

 

The reigning champion is Ashleigh Buhai, who won in a playoff at Muirfield in 2022.
